Welder/Fabricator/Fitter at Trade Track Ltd

Overview Trade Track Ltd, a specialist in property maintenance and construction based in Auckland, is hiring a skilled Welder/Fabricator for full‑time on‑site work. The role involves welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, quality assurance and collaboration with other trades. Responsibilities Perform high‑quality MIG, TIG and arc welding on structural steel, lintels, brackets and general fabrications. Assist with on‑site structural alterations, cladding repairs and property maintenance. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and layouts for precision fabrication. Inspect finished welds and structures to ensure structural integrity and quality standards. Maintain a clean, organised workspace and comply with Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) and company safety protocols. Qualifications Minimum 3 years proven work experience as a Welder/Fabricator or a relevant New Zealand Level 4 trade qualification (equivalent overseas qualification accepted). Competency in reading structural drawings and operating standard workshop machinery/tools safely. Current, clean Full Driver’s Licence preferred for travel between Auckland sites. Strong work ethic, reliable time management and excellent communication skills. Benefits Professional development assistance. Pay range $32.00 – $38.00 per hour.
