Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civil Construction Christchurch Full-Time Permanent The Opportunity We’re seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a respected civil construction contractor delivering high-quality concrete projects. This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead the financial performance of projects from tender right through to final account. What You’ll Do You’ll work alongside experienced project teams, influence key commercial decisions, and play a critical role in delivering successful, profitable outcomes. Complete detailed quantity take-offs from project drawings Prepare cost estimates and competitive tender submissions Manage subcontractor and supplier enquiries and pricing Support contract negotiations and clarifications Establish cost plans and project financial controls Procure and manage subcontractors from enquiry to award Administer variations, progress claims, and subcontract payments Produce forecasts, financial reports, and manage final accounts About You 5+ years’ QS experience with strong commercial capability Civil or construction project experience Confident communicator and negotiator Advanced Excel + QS software (CostX, Bluebeam) Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects Ideally, you’ll also bring: A relevant qualification (or working towards one) NZIQS membership or interest in joining Experience across different contract models Apply You must be eligible to work in New Zealand. #J-18808-Ljbffr
