Location Wellington Regional Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital and Hutt Hospital Service Dermatology Service Contract Permanent, full time/part time 30-40 hours Salary As per ASMS SECA About The Role An exciting opportunity has opened to join our small but dynamic Dermatology team in the Capital, Coast & Hutt Valley region. We are looking for experienced Dermatologists available to work 30-40 hours per week. As one of the four Dermatology hubs in Aotearoa, we need an experienced Dermatologist with strong dermatology surgical skills and a knowledge of medical dermatology. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work within a hospital environment to provide care to our patient population. The successful applicant will provide consulting services and facilitate the provision of high quality care to the patients under their care. The role will provide teaching and supervision with a plan to expand the service over the coming years. About the Team/Service/Location The Dermatology Service is responsible for providing comprehensive dermatological services for the sub region, including Hutt Valley and Porirua. The Dermatology Service provides collegial leadership in achieving specific annual targets and outcomes in identifying and implementing service development initiatives. Capital, Coast and Hutt Valley district is located centrally in Wellington and has over 6,000 full-time equivalent staff, making us one of the major employers in the Wellington region. We operate three hospitals - Wellington Regional Hospital in Newtown, Hutt Valley Hospital and Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua - as well as the Kāpiti Health Centre at Paraparaumu.
