Faculty Operations Manager We are seeking a Faculty Operations Manager to lead non‑academic teams across multiple sites within the Faculty of Applied Technology at the Woolston campus, with occasional travel to the Timaru campus. The successful candidate will be part of the faculty leadership team, working alongside the Dean and Portfolio Managers to ensure operations are organised, consistent, and support delivery in a busy teaching environment. You will manage resourcing, workflows, and priorities; collaborate with Facilities Management and Digital (ICT) teams; and oversee processes to improve efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate non‑academic teams across multiple faculty sites. Ensure operations are organised, consistent, and aligned with faculty objectives. Monitor resourcing, workflows, and priorities in a fast‑paced teaching environment. Collaborate with Facilities Management and Digital (ICT) teams to maintain support infrastructure. Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and delivery pathways. Build strong relationships with stakeholders and support a culture of continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience A tertiary qualification at a degree level in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience. Understanding of vocational education context, compliance, and regulations. Confidence in working with budgets, planning, and resource allocation. Strong people leadership, organisational, and solutions‑focused skills. Excellent grasp of systems, processes, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of health and safety practices. Digital confidence and ability to adopt new systems quickly.
