Class 5 Drivers

The business is looking for Class 5 drivers who are ready for their next challenge. With a fleet growing bigger by the minute, the positions are available for Swap, Linehaul/Floaters and Metro drivers based at Wellington. Due to the nature of the role, you are also required to travel nationwide to complete the duties. You will be someone who is flexible, enjoys a fast‑paced environment, can maintain a strong health and safety standard and is always ready to get stuck in! This is a full‑time, permanent role with guaranteed minimum of 40 hours and up to 70 hours per week. The pay is from $30 to $35 per hour depending on the skills and experience. The purpose of the role is to provide the most efficient and cost‑effective transport solutions for machinery, containers, bulk freight, vehicles, and trailers throughout New Zealand. Culture and benefits Z Fuel discounts and yummy monthly freebies Yearly flu vaccinations EAP services Flexibility and development To ensure the standards remain high, successful candidates need: Qualifications 2 years minimum relevant experience Clean, full Class 1–5 driver licence (NZ or overseas equivalent), with a safe driving record Strong geographical knowledge of New Zealand, or ability to obtain the knowledge fast Experience in both manual and automatic transmissions We utilise electronic logbooks and our dispatch management systems are electronic, so ideally you will be competent using phone apps and technology. The successful applicants will be required to complete a driving assessment, pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test and a Ministry of Justice check.
