Civil Engineering Intern - Transport (Nov 2026) Join our dynamic team as a Civil Engineering Intern! You will have the chance to work on a variety of projects alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable insights into the civil engineering field. Our projects range from large‑scale initiatives to smaller, detailed works, providing you with a broad spectrum of learning opportunities. How you’ll make a difference Assist in Project Development: support projects at different stages, from initial concept design to construction and operation. Contribute to Design and Management: help with design tasks, project management, and engage with stakeholders to ensure project success. Innovative Solutions: work with the team to develop creative and sustainable solutions for diverse engineering challenges. Collaborate with Teams: participate in multidisciplinary teams to help deliver and maintain major roadway infrastructure projects. Internship Attributes and Requirements Intern attributes : curious, excited to apply studies in a professional environment; strong communication and teamwork skills; positive and proactive attitude; adaptable; commitment to professionalism and integrity. Bachelor’s Degree : must be in the penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering. Preferably holds a full New Zealand driver’s licence. Commencement : able to work full‑time hours from 16 November 2026 – 19 February 2027. Working Rights : must have full working rights to work in New Zealand before applying.
