Based across the 4th Floor and Frederick Street Outpatients, you'll play an important role in ensuring patients, whānau, clinicians, and visitors receive a professional and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive.If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering outstanding administrative support, we'd love to hear from you.**About the role**As a Receptionist/Administrator, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors while providing essential administrative support that keeps our outpatient clinics running efficiently. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll help coordinate patient journeys and ensure clinical services operate smoothly.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:* Greeting and assisting patients, whānau, and visitors with professionalism and compassion.* Managing reception, telephone, email, and general enquiries.* Processing patient arrivals and maintaining accurate patient information.* Loading and processing referrals within agreed timeframes.* Scanning, filing, and maintaining patient records in line with organisational standards.* Ordering office supplies and supporting general administrative functions.* Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure an efficient patient experience.Providing administrative support across the wider team as required.**About the Team/Service/Location**Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Southern provides services to more than 350,000 people across the largest geographical region in New Zealand.
