As our business continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Business Development & Account Manager to drive revenue growth, strengthen client relationships, and position the company as a preferred supplier across key accounts. About the role Reporting directly to the Directors, this role is responsible for generating new business opportunities while maximising revenue from our existing client base. Operating across New Zealand, you will focus on increasing market share, growing share of wallet with established clients, improving tender win rates, and identifying strategic partnerships that support long‑term growth. This is a highly visible role that works closely with Operations and Administration to ensure opportunities convert into successfully delivered work. All activities in this role are commercially focused and directly support revenue growth, client retention, and future work opportunities. Key responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target clients and sectors Grow revenue within existing clients by identifying additional work streams Position the business to secure preferred supplier status Maintain and manage a forward pipeline of opportunities Lead or support tender preparation in collaboration with Operations and Administration Ensure pricing, scope, and delivery capability are aligned Provide clear handover of secured work to Operations for successful delivery Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders Maintain consistent client engagement to stay front‑of‑mind for upcoming work Attend key projects and shutdowns to maintain client visibility and trust Identify partnership opportunities with suppliers and service providers Support branded and commercial initiatives that enhance client value Capture project successes to support future tenders and business development About you You are a commercially minded relationship builder who enjoys identifying opportunities and turning them into long‑term client partnerships. You are confident engaging with clients, understand operational environments, and can work collaboratively across the business to achieve results.
