Permanent Relief Support Staff – Full Time Location: Christchurch Pay Rate: $26.35 – $31.45 per hour (depending on qualifications) Availability: Must be available to work weekends and a variety of shifts Make a real difference every day as a Support Worker withHawksbury Community Living Trust. About the Role As a Permanent Relief Support Staff member,you’llwork across a range of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, awakenight shifts, split shifts, and weekends . You will be: Supporting daily routines including shopping, mealpreparation, household tasks Providing personal care respectfully and safely Supporting community activities and outings Encouraging independence, choice, and wellbeing Followsupport plans and maintain accurate records About You We’re looking for someone who is flexible, empathetic,and dependable , with a genuine passion for supporting others. You’ll ideally have: NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 2or higher), or experience as a Support Worker / Caregiver /Healthcare Assistant Full New Zealand driver’s licence (essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A respectful, person-centred approach to providingsupport to people with learning disabilities.
