Preschool Aide

Unqualified teacher, General, School and ECE teaching support Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana Atua Pukeko Preschool is situated within the grounds of Pakuranga Heights School. We value the strong relationships we have built with our families and we work collaboratively with the primary school to support smooth transitions to ECE to primary. We are committed to delivering high-quality early childhood education that supports children’s learning and development through the principles and learning outcomes of Te Whāriki, Kōwhiti Whakapae and New Zealand Curriculum. Provides care and supervision for children at preschool centres under the direction of early childhood (pre‑primary school) teachers. Taking care of children's age 3 months – 24 months Evaluate and implement developments in current learning, pedagogy, and assessment theories Demonstrate sound knowledge of child development An advocate for high-quality health and safety practices for adults and children and proactively seeks and works to eliminate identified health and safety issues.
