Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity available to joinour Albany Auckland based Support Centre as Service Desk Technician. This is a 40-hour role working Monday to Friday. You will play a key role in delivering exceptionaltechnical support to internal staff, both in the Support Centre and Stores,empowering them to enhance productivity and leverage technology for achievingbusiness objectives. We are in search of an individual who will advocate forcustomer needs within the Technology team, ensuring a swift and user-friendlyservice while fostering awareness of technology among users. This position primarily involves supporting thetechnology infrastructure, encompassing computer hardware, operating systems,technology management tools, and various applications. The goal is to enableMitre10 staff to efficiently carry out their day-to-day business operations. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager your keyfunctions will include: Efficiently managing and resolvingincoming incidents and service requests in a timely manner Escalating and overseeing major incidentsthrough adherence to the Major Incident Procedure Ensuring that knowledge of supportedservices remains current and is promptly updated with any changes ordiscoveries Delivering appropriate and timelycommunication to users and other key stakeholders Upholding the highest standards acrossall aspects of your role to provide the best possible customer experience. To be successful in this role, you will have: 2+ years’ service desk support experiencein a large enterprise; SAP experience advantageous Solid experience with Creston Units andUC engines Demonstrated understanding andinvolvement in the use of remote management tools for desktop, applicationand server support Proven experience in the support ofOffice 365 and all Microsoft Windows operating systems A sound working knowledge of Azure AD andrelated network services Solid experience in the use of userprovisioning tools Proven experience in managing businessapplication platforms such as POS systems and business systems such asTime & Attendance, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, MYOB etc. Why you’ll love working with us: Mitre 10 team member discounts Attractive package ($72k - $76k) Flexible working options Birthday leave (your special day off, on us!)
