We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Albany Auckland based Support Centre as Service Desk Technician . This is a 40‑hour role working Monday to Friday. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional technical support to internal staff, both in the Support Centre and Stores, empowering them to enhance productivity and leverage technology for achieving business objectives. We are in search of an individual who will advocate for customer needs within the Technology team, ensuring a swift and user‑friendly service while fostering awareness of technology among users. This position primarily involves supporting the technology infrastructure, encompassing computer hardware, operating systems, technology management tools, and various applications. The goal is to enable Mitre10 staff to efficiently carry out their day‑to‑day business operations. Reporting to the Service Desk Manager your key functions will include: Efficiently managing and resolving incoming incidents and service requests in a timely manner Escalating and overseeing major incidents through adherence to the Major Incident Procedure Ensuring that knowledge of supported services remains current and is promptly updated with any changes or discoveries Delivering appropriate and timely communication to users and other key stakeholders Upholding the highest standards across all aspects of your role to provide the best possible customer experience. To be successful in this role, you will have: 2+ years’ service desk support experience in a large enterprise; SAP experience advantageous Meeting room set‑up experience Solid experience with Creston Units and UC engines Demonstrated understanding and involvement in the use of remote management tools for desktop, application and server support Proven experience in the support of Office 365 and all Microsoft Windows operating systems A sound working knowledge of Azure AD and related network services Solid experience in the use of user provisioning tools Proven experience in managing business application platforms such as POS systems and business systems such as Time & Attendance, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, MYOB etc. Why you’ll love working with us: Mitre 10 team member discounts Attractive package ($72k - $76k) Flexible working options Birthday leave (your special day off, on us!)
