About the role This internal role sits within our People & Culture team, the heart of our firm. You’ll play a key role in supporting our people and leaders, driving initiatives that create an exceptional employee experience and progress our P&C strategy. This is a full time permanent role. Your day-to-day could include: Supporting and delivering cyclical P&C programmes such as performance cycles, graduate and intern initiatives, and wellbeing/engagement surveys. Partnering with P&C Connect and Business Partners to ensure consistent, values-led employee experiences across the firm. Contributing to projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance organisational effectiveness and people outcomes. Collaborating with colleagues to share knowledge, balance workloads, and strengthen P&C capability across the team. Providing proactive advice and guidance to leaders and staff on performance, development and day to day employment matters, escalating complex cases to P&C Business Partners. Skills you will bring or develop in this role 2-4 years’ experience in a People & Culture generalist or advisory role, ideally in a medium or large organisation. Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and ability to support minor employee relations matters. Proven ability to use HR data and insights to inform decision‑making and reporting. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with credibility across a range of stakeholders. Proficiency with MS Office and exposure to HRIS or professional services environments; experience with graduate/intern programmes an advantage. We encourage early applications.
