About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person with excellent interpersonal skills to provide clinical typing support for the Mental Health and Addictions Service based in Hamilton. Previous typing experience, a high degree of computer literacy and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Experience with hospital management systems and the ability to fit into a large team would be advantageous; however, training will be provided. About the Team/Service The Mental Health and Addictions Service has physical locations across Waikato. This role will be physically located at Te Kuuwaha o te Waiora, 135c Silverdale Road, Hillcrest (Entrance 10, University of Waikato) as part of our Adult Mental Health Service. About you Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth. Experience in upholding Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings. Adaptable with a willingness to embrace multitasking. Excellent communication skills are required and confidentiality is essential. Possess competent computer skills with evidence of your typing ability. It would be advantageous that you have had previous experience working within a health/mental health setting.
