As our Dairy Success Manager in the Southland region you will play a key role in helping farmers unlock the full value of our system every day. You will work directly with farmers, providing expert support, proactive monitoring, and tailored training. Your goal is to ensure each farm not only uses CowManager but thrives with it, gaining insights, improving herd health, and achieving better results through precision technology. CowManager New Zealand is an established and growing presence within the dairy industry, focused on delivering data‑driven insights that improve animal health, fertility, nutrition, and overall herd performance. With strong ambitions and Southland at the heart of New Zealand’s dairy sector, you will help us build lasting relationships with our customers and keep them at the cutting edge of herd management. The Job Technical support: First point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email. System monitoring: Daily checks of active CowManager systems; identify and elevate issues (bugs, incidents, performance concerns) to the technical support team. Training & coaching: Provide on‑site and remote training to farmers to optimize system use and support long‑term adoption. Interface support: Assist with hardware installations and data integrations with herd management systems. Relationship building: Maintain strong communication with farmers, dealers, and the NZ sales team. Feedback collection: Gather input from the field and relay to CowManager product and support teams for continuous improvement. After Sales training: Help dairy farmers experience the full value of CowManager and gain maximum benefits through ongoing training via TeamViewer and on‑farm meetings. Collaborate closely with both CowManager NZ and CowManager HQ team members. The Skills Strong affiliation with the dairy industry; basic knowledge of cow fertility, health, transitional, and nutritional requirements. Hands‑on experience with dairy cows is an advantage. Strong IT affinity; familiarity with computer networks and common software tools. Analytical, solution‑oriented, and structured. Customer‑oriented with excellent communication and empathy. Independent and proactive with strong organizational skills. Willingness to travel throughout New Zealand. Applicants must be based in New Zealand and hold a valid work visa or residency.
