What you'll be doing As a key member of the service team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of farming equipment. Carrying out fault-finding and diagnostic work using modern diagnostic tools Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on diesel engines, driveline, hydraulics, and electrical systems Working both in the workshop and out in the field to support customer equipment Completing accurate job cards, reports and service documentation Providing excellent customer service during on-site visits and workshop interactions Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and professionalism What we're looking for Diesel Mechanic with a relevant automotive trade qualification Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills – ability to troubleshoot complex machine systems Proven experience with tractors and other farming equipment Solid hydraulics skills and diagnostic capability Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively within a workshop team Excellent communication skills and a strong customer‑focused approach A positive, reliable work ethic and commitment to quality outcomes What's on offer Competitive hourly rate with benefits Full‑time, permanent position offering a minimum of 40 hours per week Ongoing training and development opportunities A supportive and friendly team culture Varied work across both workshop and field settings Opportunity to work on a range of machinery How to apply Applications from those wanting to relocate from elsewhere within NZ are welcome.
