Volunteering Opportunity - July School Holidays

Overview The Kind Foundation (previously YMCA) is seeking students interested in volunteering during the upcoming school holidays. Our Holiday Programmes cater to children aged 5-11 years old in three different locations: Papa Hou in the City, Bishopdale Rec Centre, and Te Kāpehu Riccarton Primary. Programmes offer a variety of fun activities such as Ninja Valley, Science Day, and Clip & Climb. Responsibilities Volunteers will gain work experience, apply leadership skills, meet other young people, and have fun. Supervisors will be on site at all times to support volunteers and children with any concerns. The role of a volunteer is to interact with the children, build relationships, engage in activities, and support the overseeing of the group. Off‑site activities are covered by the Foundation; volunteers need not pay for any activities or transport during the day. Qualifications Students must be 15+ years old.
