Job Description

We're looking for a surveyor or survey technician to join our new Central Otago team. The role is Wanaka-based and involves delivering high-quality land surveying services to the local market. Who you are Enthusiastic and motivated Surveyor or Technician who enjoys delivering practical solutions and working closely with clients, contractors and local authorities. Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment and enjoys contributing to projects ranging from luxury alpine residential developments through to commercial sites and larger infrastructure projects. Confident managing your own workload and enjoys working in a dynamic, energetic consulting environment where initiative, technical capability and strong communication skills are valued. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years’ experience in land surveying A diploma in surveying (minimum requirement) A knowledge of 12D, landonline and Autodesk Civil 3D An understanding of the Cadastral Survey Rules, the RMA, and local QLDC land development codes Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to manage time effectively and take ownership of the surveying division’s local output A positive, fun and outgoing personality to our collaborative team environment What we offer You will work within a long-established, highly respected South Island consultancy delivering a diverse range of engineering projects.
