Join a high performing group-wide sustainability function at Oji Fibre Solutions and play a key role delivering our vision to be our customers’ best supplier of pulp and packaging, building a brighter future together. We’re looking for a Sustainability Manager to join an established sustainability team and work closely alongside another Sustainability Manager, with scope to shape your focus across a broad range of workstreams. This role reports to the Group Manager – Sustainability within the Group Governance division. This is a broad role suited to someone who brings both action-oriented delivery and systems thinking, able to connect the detail with the bigger picture. About The Role This is a hands‑on role for someone who combines action‑oriented delivery with systems thinking – able to connect data, processes, and practical outcomes. ‑ Sustainable fibre sourcing and supplier due diligence ‑ Certification programmes (FSC/PEFC) and audit coordination ‑ SEDEX and EcoVadis programme management ‑ Sustainability reporting, including the annual Sustainability Report ‑ Emissions measurement and reporting (Scope 1, 2 and developing Scope 3) ‑ Sustainability data, systems and performance tracking ‑ Customer ESG queries and reporting requirements ‑ Supporting programmes such as biodiversity and modern slavery Scope will be shaped based on team priorities and individual strengths. What we’re looking for ‑ A practical, delivery-focused sustainability professional ‑ Strong systems thinker who can work across data, processes, and stakeholders ‑ Experience in sustainability-related roles, ideally within procurement, supply chain, accounting, or reporting environments ‑ Strong data analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills ‑ Experience in areas such as reporting, certification, emissions, or supplier programmes ‑ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes ‑ Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage across the business ‑ Experience with audits (internal, certification, supplier, or assurance) is preferred Why join us ‑ Broad, impactful role across a complex, manufacturing-based business ‑ Group-wide exposure across Packaging and Forest Resources ‑ Opportunity to shape how sustainability is delivered in practice ‑ Work alongside an experienced Sustainability Manager with complementary focus ‑ Flexible role design to align with your strengths and development goals Location & flexibility ‑ Based in Auckland (Greenlane office) ‑ 4 days per week considered for the right candidate ‑ Some travel within New Zealand required #J-18808-Ljbffr
