About This Position Apply for the Aotearoa Immunisation Register (AIR) Administrator – part‑time permanent position at Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora. This full‑time onsite role offers opportunities for career growth and enables you to make a positive impact on community health. About the Role The AIR enables healthcare providers to access immunisation health records to improve decisions about vaccinations and to give Health New Zealand and the wider health system a better understanding of population immunity against vaccine‑preventable diseases. In this role you will manage the collection, maintenance and exchange of accurate and valid data in the AIR according to the security, quality and timeliness specifications in the AIR business rules. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and quality of the AIR database, including upgrades and error resolution. About the Service The National Public Health Service (NPHS) within Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora works towards Pae Ora (healthy futures) for all by engaging with the wider determinants that impact people’s health, focusing on well‑being, prevention, protection and population‑level intervention. It is delivered nationally, regionally and locally. About You You are an experienced administrator with an eye for detail and a commitment to continuous quality improvement. You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, can write clearly and succinctly, and can work to tight deadlines and timeframes. You are comfortable with outreach work in the community, at clinics and in an office environment as required. You have: Proven experience in the AIR administration system, including Power BI Proven experience using Patient Management Systems and the ability to include upgrades and error resolutions Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work to tight timeframes Full driver’s licence Benefits We welcome applications from our diverse Māori, Pacific, disabled, and rainbow communities.
