Business Development Engineer - Stormwater We're seeking a driven and dynamic Business Development Engineer to lead innovation and growth in stormwater treatment solutions across the lower North Island. This is a strategic technical sales position focused on improving water quality outcomes through engineered stormwater solutions. You’ll work closely with consultants, councils, and industry stakeholders to develop and promote cutting‑edge products that support cleaner, healthier waterways. Key Responsibilities Driving business development across Wellington, Hawkes Bay and Palmerston North Building strong relationships with consultants, regulators, and specifiers. Providing technical support and developing engineered solutions tailored to client needs. Managing a robust sales pipeline and contributing to product specification and approval. Representing the business at industry events and innovation forums. Collaborating with a national engineering team at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure. What You’ll Bring Strong technical knowledge of stormwater systems and engineered water solutions Ability to build and maintain relationships across consultants, councils, and contractors Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Environmental Science. Proven track record in sales and business development. Clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Passion for environmental sustainability and water quality.
