Job Description
Permanent Full‑time 1.0FTE – West Adult Community Mental Health Team We are looking for an experienced New Zealand registered Allied Health professional to join our West Adult Community Mental Health Service. You will provide assessment and treatment interventions and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage clients aged 18‑65 with a range of mental disorders. Responsibilities Oversight and management of a varied case portfolio. Complete assessments of consumers and formulate interventions to meet individual needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team (MDT). Work closely with clients, their families/whānau, and carers to support the return of clients to primary health care after specialist input. Qualifications Registration as a Social Worker NewZealand with an Annual Practicing Certificate. A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health setting. Experience in case management in mental health. Ability to triage and prioritise patients appropriately and promptly. Current NewZealand driver’s licence. Ideally a Duly Authorised Officer, or willing to undertake the four‑day DAO training provided by Waitaha DHB.
