About the role This role is based in Auckland and reporting to the Business Manager of Cyber Security, we are recruiting for a high‑performing Business Development Manager to join our team. The core responsibility of this role will be to effectively manage the New Zealand relationship between Ingram Micro and Fortinet, a leading Cybersecurity vendor, ensuring that margin and revenue numbers are met, managing and growing the channel, and maintaining all forecasting and reporting. Key Responsibilities Meet and exceed revenue and sales targets to support the company's growth objectives. Regularly engage with partners to expand our product portfolio and build strong, enduring relationships with both existing and new partners. Effectively manage and nurture the relationship between Ingram Micro and Fortinet. Collaborate closely with the Vendor Manager to ensure the achievement of margin and revenue targets. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that sales revenue and profitability metrics are met. Assist in executing quarterly marketing plans and work hand in hand with the Ingram Micro sales team to maximise brand visibility. Collaborate with the Vendor Manager and support associates to ensure the continued success of the portfolio. Provide timely and accurate reporting and forecasting to help guide decision‑making. Qualifications and Skills A strong background in Channel Sales within the cybersecurity space is essential. Extensive experience working with Cyber Security Partners in New Zealand. Experience working in IT distribution is advantageous. Excellent relationship management skills, both internally and externally. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Previous experience in developing Sales and Territory plans, with the ability to present plans effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills are a must. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis and reporting; advanced PowerPoint skills are highly desirable. A track record of effectively managing a channel in highly competitive markets. Ideally, tertiary qualifications in a Business or Marketing field. What’s in it for you?
