We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our Auckland team. This role is based in Auckland. You’ll work closely with operational leaders and project teams across the business, helping us win the right work and set projects up for success from day one. The Role This isn't a role where you sit in the background producing numbers. We're looking for someone who understands how projects are built, thinks commercially, challenges assumptions, and contributes to winning work the right way. As an Estimator at Seipp, you’ll work closely with operational leaders, project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to prepare accurate, competitive, and commercially sound tenders. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing detailed first-principles estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documentation Identifying project risks, opportunities, and buildability considerations Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical input Developing construction methodologies and pricing strategies Supporting EOI, ROI, negotiated, and traditional tender submissions Working closely with delivery teams to ensure projects are set up for success from the outset Contributing to continuous improvement within our estimating function Projects may include: Three waters infrastructure Pump stations and treatment plants Structures and bridge works Mechanical and civil works Complex underground infrastructure Design and build projects About You You’ll likely bring: 5+ years' experience in civil construction estimating Strong understanding of construction methodology and sequencing Experience pricing infrastructure or heavy civil projects Sound commercial judgement Strong attention to detail Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines Relevant construction, engineering, or quantity surveying qualification (preferred) Experience in three waters, structures, mechanical works, treatment plants, or design and build projects would be advantageous.
