H&S / First Aid Trainer (Contract) – Auckland H&S or First Aid Trainer? Step into contract work across Auckland. Safety ‘n Action is looking for experienced Contract Trainers to deliver Health & Safety and/or First Aid programmes across Auckland. You’ll be primarily based from our West Auckland site, with delivery across other Auckland locations as needed. We have a strong pipeline of courses and are looking for trainers who can step in and deliver confidently. About the Role Deliver practical, hands‑on training to learners across a range of industries. First Aid training programmes. Health & Safety courses (e.g. Confined Space, Working at Heights, MEWP, Fire Warden/Extinguisher, Permit Issuer/Permit Receiver). Run engaging, real‑world training sessions. Complete assessments and learner records. Deliver in a digital (paperless) environment. Training is delivered at our sites and client locations across Auckland. What We’re Looking For Proven experience delivering First Aid and/or H&S training. Strong industry background (construction, trades, manufacturing, emergency services). Ability to step in and deliver with confidence. Strong communication and facilitation skills. Reliable, professional approach. Current Pre Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) certificate. For H&S Trainers Unit Standard 4098 (or working towards it). Experience delivering training such as Heights, Confined Space, MEWP or similar.
