We have an exciting opportunity for an equally passionate Training Advisor to help us achieve this. As a Training Advisor, you will be a vital part of our Workforce Development Group, supporting our learners and their employers through their training programmes in the West Coast region. Leveraging your automotive industry knowledge or background, you'll be responsible for promoting, implementing, co-ordinating, and monitoring training arrangements, providing pastoral care, and ensuring our apprentices and employers are equipped for success. This is a highly rewarding role; a commitment to see learners achieve is paramount to your job satisfaction. Please note that the ideal candidate would be based in Greymouth or Hokitika, and that travel throughout the region, requiring stays away from home, is a requirement of the role. One week out of every three weeks would need to be spent working on the East Coast. Proven experience in case or account management and meeting the needs of clients Must hold a relevant industry qualification Exemplary communication and relationship building skills An understanding of coaching and mentoring A commitment to improving opportunities for people to access on-the-job training, including under‑represented groups A commitment to equity and giving effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi The ability to work flexible hours Excellent administrative, organisational, and computer skills.
