Job Description
Mechanical Engineering Intern (Nov 2026) As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support our teams across all phases of project delivery—from design through construction support—while learning from experienced professionals and helping with day‑to‑day tasks under supervision. How you’ll make a difference Support the design and planning of water and wastewater infrastructure by helping with calculations, drafting inputs, and documentation under guidance. Collaborate with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary project teams, helping to coordinate tasks and contribute to integrated solutions. Assist in preparing technical reports, drawings, specifications, and design documentation, including compiling data, preparing figures, and drafting sections for review. Help with tendering activities, site inspections, and construction‑phase services by organizing information, taking notes, and preparing follow‑up actions as directed. Work closely with clients and stakeholders by supporting meetings, preparing presentation materials, and helping with responses to queries to deliver impactful water infrastructure outcomes. Qualification Requirements Must be in your penultimate year of a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. Able to work full‑time hours from 16 November 2026 – 19 February 2027. Must have full working rights to work in Australia and New Zealand before applying.
