Job Description

Twizel | Lake Benmore Project | Fixed Term (Approx. 2.5 Years) Help deliver one of New Zealand's significant infrastructure projects. At Seipp Construction, we don't build houses. We deliver complex infrastructure that makes a difference to communities across New Zealand. We're looking for an organised and proactive Project Administrator to join our team on the Lake Benmore Dam Seismic Strengthening Project , based near Twizel. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a major long-term infrastructure project from the inside. Working alongside the Senior Project Manager and site team, you'll be the person who keeps the project organised, coordinates the day-to-day logistics, and ensures the hundreds of moving parts behind the scenes come together successfully. No two days will be the same. One day you might be coordinating inductions for new starters, arranging accommodation and transport, or issuing PPE. The next you could be preparing project reports, managing project documentation, coordinating site diaries or organising a team morning tea. This role is ideally suited to someone living in Twizel, Omarama, Otematata, Kurow or the surrounding Mackenzie and Waitaki districts who is looking to become part of a close-knit project team. If you enjoy variety, thrive on being organised and like helping others succeed, you'll love this role. About Seipp Seipp Construction is an award-winning infrastructure contractor delivering projects throughout New Zealand. From water infrastructure and marine works through to structures, mechanical and heavy civil construction, we specialise in technically challenging projects delivered safely and professionally. Our purpose is simple. Making a difference through infrastructure delivery. The Lake Benmore Project is expected to run for approximately 2.5 years , with the potential for extension as project requirements evolve. This fixed-term opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution to a significant infrastructure project while working alongside an experienced and supportive team. What you'll be doing You'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the project by: Coordinating inductions, onboarding and training for new employees and contractors. Managing project documentation, registers and document control. Organising accommodation allocations and resolving accommodation-related issues. Coordinating local transport and travel to and from Christchurch when required. Managing PPE ordering, issuing and stock levels. Maintaining health, safety, quality and environmental records. Tracking project data, including HSEQ and greenhouse gas reporting. Maintaining project diaries, daily records and site photographs. Assisting with weekly progress reporting to the client. Coordinating timesheet follow-up and approvals. Supporting the day-to-day operation of the project office and site facilities. Organising team functions and project events. Providing administrative support wherever it's needed to help keep the project running smoothly. About you You'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities change and every day brings something different. You may come from construction, project administration, logistics, hospitality, office management or another role where organisation and customer service have been essential. You'll also bring: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities. A proactive, solutions-focused approach. Confidence communicating with people at all levels. A genuine customer service mindset. The ability to work independently while contributing to a team. A full New Zealand driver's licence. Construction or infrastructure experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential. We're looking for someone with the right attitude, initiative and willingness to learn. This isn't just another administration role. You'll become an integral part of a close-knit project team delivering infrastructure that will have a lasting impact on New Zealand. We offer: The opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project. Interesting and varied work where no two days are the same. A supportive and down-to-earth team culture. Professional development and training. Private health insurance. Long service recognition. The opportunity to build your career with an award-winning infrastructure contractor. This position is offered on a fixed-term basis for the expected duration of the Lake Benmore Dam Seismic Strengthening Project (approximately 2.5 years ). Due to the nature of project work, there may be opportunities for the role to be extended or for other opportunities within Seipp Construction as future projects commence. Apply now If you're highly organised, enjoy supporting others and want to play an important role in delivering one of New Zealand's significant infrastructure projects, we'd love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
