Data Collection Specialist Regional (Survey Interviewer) Full‑time on‑site position offering career growth opportunities. Fixed term part‑time (37.5 guaranteed minimum hours per fortnight) in Rotorua. Overview Work in frontline teams to build relationships with communities and collect data from respondents through their preferred channels. Deliver a positive, trusted and seamless respondent experience. Flexible field‑based role involving regular travel with primarily face‑to‑face interviewing, with some phone and email work as needed. Responsibilities Engage with communities and households across varied days and hours, including mornings, afternoons/early evenings, and weekends. Collect and enter data accurately using Microsoft 365 and other digital systems. Maintain a reliable internet connection and a road‑worthy, insured vehicle for travel. Participate in mandatory training and induction at the Auckland office (Monday 10 August – Friday 14 August, 9am – 5pm). Self‑manage work schedule, ensuring timely completion of tasks and compliance with quality standards. Qualifications 2+ years customer service experience. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus. Proficient with Microsoft 365, digital systems, and data entry tools; quick to learn new technology. Works well independently and in teams, demonstrating excellent time‑management. Valid NZ driver’s licence and dependable vehicle. Physical ability to walk and drive frequently. Benefits Hourly rate: $30.41 + Kiwisaver 3 extra leave days at the end of the year (taken during Christmas office closure).
