Job Description
Join a highly engaged team and collaborate widely to deliver our statutory performance documents. Provide support to elevate the maturity of performance measurement practices across all levels of the organisation. Key Responsibilities Work under the Head of Organisational Performance to lead the delivery of a work programme aimed at demonstrating delivery of core functions and meeting government expectations. Design and develop performance frameworks, systems and reporting to assess how NZTA tracks against its strategic direction. Lead the production of high‑quality statutory accountability documents as required. Drive improvements in how progress is measured and monitored, supporting a lift in performance measurement practices. Qualifications Proven expertise and deep understanding of the machinery of Government in relation to expectation setting, planning, performance measurement and monitoring. Prior experience producing high‑quality statutory accountability documents for a Crown entity. In‑depth understanding of performance frameworks and end‑user needs for monitoring and reporting products. Experience in performance measure design and development. Sound knowledge of best‑practice strategy development and implementation. Strong business analysis skills – able to combine story‑telling with qualitative and quantitative analysis. Proven experience in leading, influencing and building credibility across a diverse range of stakeholders. Highly effective written and oral presentation, communication and advocacy skills. Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience. Experience with the PuMP performance measurement methodology is desirable.
