Role Overview As the Lead Engineer within the Customer Relationship Ecosystem, you’ll shape platforms and experiences that underpin customer connections, with a strong focus on Salesforce and its extended ecosystem. You’ll contribute to end‑to‑end design across Salesforce platforms including Financial Services Cloud, Service Cloud, Data 360 and Experience Cloud. You’ll integrate Salesforce with .NET services, APIs and core banking platforms, ensuring scalable, secure and high‑performing solutions. You’ll drive engineering excellence, set standards, guide architectural decisions and mentor engineers across squads, working closely with Product Managers, Architects and Delivery Leads. Key Responsibilities Lead Salesforce engineering solutions across FSC, Service Cloud or similar platforms. Design and deliver integration patterns across APIs, middleware and external platforms (e.g., .NET or core banking systems). Define engineering standards, best practices, code reviews and design oversight. Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD, source control and deployment strategies. Mentor engineers and foster continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Manage technical risks, resolve complex issues and contribute to architectural decisions. Qualifications Solid experience leading Salesforce engineering solutions across FSC, Service Cloud or similar platforms. Deep technical expertise across Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows and Salesforce configuration. Proven ability to design and deliver integration patterns across APIs, middleware, and external platforms. Experience defining engineering standards, best practices and driving quality through code reviews and design oversight. Strong understanding of DevOps practices including CI/CD, source control and deployment strategies. Ability to lead and mentor engineers while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. Confidence managing technical risks, resolving complex issues and contributing to architectural decisions. Bonus Experience working across hybrid environments combining Salesforce with Azure or other cloud platforms. Exposure to API‑led and event‑driven architecture patterns. Experience supporting large‑scale platform transformations or legacy‑modern coexistence strategies. Familiarity working within regulated environments (financial services or similar).
