Position Associate Clinical Charge Nurse (ACCN) – Fixed term 12 months, part time (0.6 full‑time equivalent) based at North Shore Hospital. About the Role Support the delivery and coordination of an expanding local oncology service at North Shore Hospital. Work closely with the Charge Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and multidisciplinary partners to ensure high‑quality, safe, culturally responsive care for patients receiving cancer treatment. Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight across treatment settings. Support safe and efficient patient flow. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to maintain high‑quality, culturally responsive cancer care. Balance hands‑on clinical leadership with service coordination. Embed new models of care that bring treatment closer to home. Qualifications & Experience Current NewZealand registered nurse (APC) with a postgraduate nursing qualification (PGCert minimum; PGDip/Masters or leadership learning desirable or in progress). Minimum 5+years of clinical experience in oncology or infusion therapy. Cannulation certification with capability in cytotoxic/biologic therapy (eviQ desirable). Demonstrated clinical leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and care coordination capabilities. Experience in quality improvement, incident review, and operational processes. Commitment to TeTiritioWaitangi, culturally safe practice, and equitable outcomes.
