About The Role Senior Placement Broker - New Zealand Placement team. Design insurance programme placement strategies, negotiate with insurers across local and international markets, and deliver tailored market solutions creating exceptional outcomes for clients. Work closely with client servicing teams, specialty teams, and global broking colleagues to bring the best of Aon to every client engagement. What You’ll Be Doing Lead insurance program design, placement strategy, and account reviews for qualifying clients. Provide strategic guidance to client servicing teams on market solutions and tactics. Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers in New Zealand, London, Asia, and Australia. Leverage Aon’s data and analytics platforms to generate insights for clients and stakeholders. Support retention of key accounts and play a key role in tender responses and new business activity. Embed Aon United, operational excellence, and risk management practices into everyday work. Model enterprise leadership by collaborating across teams and championing Aon’s values. Skills and Experience Strong expertise across major product lines, especially Property, General Liability, and Motor. Proven ability to negotiate and interpret policy wordings. Exceptional relationship‑building, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to interpret data and recommend solutions aligned to client goals. Adaptability in a dynamic environment and a track record of delivering growth, profitability, and retention outcomes. Experience partnering with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
