Job Description

Lead the delivery of key Three Waters, highways and civil infrastructure projects across Wellington for a market leading civil contractor. Overview Deliver high‑impact projects across the Wellington region. End‑to‑end project ownership with strong support from senior leadership. Role An experienced Project Manager is sought to take ownership of multiple Three Waters, highways and civil infrastructure projects across the Wellington region. You will be responsible for managing projects from contract award through to completion, working closely with site teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe, efficient and commercially sound delivery. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys being close to the detail while also maintaining a strong big‑picture view of programme, cost and risk. Key Responsibilities Full project lifecycle management from planning through to final accounts Programme development, resourcing and coordination of site teams Contract administration including variations, progress claims and cost control Managing client and stakeholder relationships and providing clear reporting Ensuring health, safety, quality and environmental standards are met on all projects Supporting and mentoring site‑based staff where required Role Requirements Proven experience managing Three Waters, utilities or highways projects within civil contracting Strong understanding of NZ construction contracts, ideally NZS3910 Proven experience in civil engineering, construction management or a trade‑based pathway with project management experience Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and client management skills Organised, solutions‑focused and able to manage multiple priorities Full NZ driver’s licence and right to work in New Zealand What's in it for You Competitive salary package reflective of your experience Company vehicle, phone and tools of the trade Long‑term, stable role with a strong pipeline of local work Supportive leadership and a down‑to‑earth team culture Opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential regional infrastructure #J-18808-Ljbffr
