As our Kaituitui Pūmanawa Tangata | Human Resources Coordinator , you’ll be a key connector who helps keep our organisation running smoothly and our culture thriving. No two days will look the same. Collaboration and a proactive spirit will set you up for success as you juggle multiple tasks and contribute to work that truly matters. In this dynamic position, you’ll bring accuracy, care, and curiosity to a wide range of HR activities—from coordinating initiatives that support our people across their employment journey including payroll support. You’ll be the go-to for organised, values-led HR support, helping us stay aligned with best practice and legislative requirements. Responsibilities Be the friendly first point of contact for our kaimahi, managing the AskHR inbox and making sure every query gets the support or direction it needs. Create and coordinate key HR documentation from employment letters to formal communications bringing clarity, consistency and professionalism to every interaction. Keep our HR systems humming, maintaining accurate staff records and ensuring our processes align with policies, delegations and employment agreements. Lead the full induction and offboarding experience, making sure new starters feel welcomed and departing staff are supported. Work closely with the HR Advisor to enter transactions and new starter information into our HRIS, contributing to seamless payroll operations every fortnight. A relevant qualification or real-world HR experience that shows you’re ready to hit the ground running. A solid grounding in HR practices and employment legislation, you know the essentials and you’re confident using them. A genuine desire to grow your HR career, with curiosity and ambition that we can help you nurture. Strong organisational skills, you thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities with ease and keep things moving without missing a beat. Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build strong, trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation. Confidence working independently, paired with a collaborative approach that strengthens the team around you. Great digital skills, especially in Microsoft Office. Eligibility to work in New Zealand. Qualifications Pae Rua- Te Whakarongo | An ability to understand Te Reo Māori, and ability to practice correct pronunciation of Te Reo Māori Pae Rua- Te Noho Marae | An understanding and living of Tikanga Māori on a noho marae level.
