Overview The Opportunity Our client is a well-established main contractor who requires an experienced Commercial Site Manager to support one of their key projects in Auckland on a contract/temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can step onto a live site, take control quickly, and keep the programme moving. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day site operations and subcontractor coordination Maintain a safe, compliant, and well-documented site Monitor progress against programme and escalate issues early Oversee quality assurance, inspections, and defect management Work closely with the Project Manager, engineers, and wider delivery team Ensure materials, trades, and logistics are well-organised Resolve on-site challenges and keep the project on track What’s On Offer Competitive hourly/contract rate ($55 - $65 per hour) Supportive client with strong systems and structure Well-run site with clear expectations Opportunity for ongoing contract work for high performers Work with a respected main contractor delivering quality commercial builds.
