Gisborne Hospital Hours: Full Time / Fixed Term The hospital is part of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora and is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. About the Role As an intern for the 2027 year, you will be responsible for providing a high quality pharmacy service to our patients. Being part of a smaller hospital offers great exposure to all parts of the hospital. Rotations in the dispensary, surgical ward, medical ward, combination/rehab ward Time in ICU/CCU and paediatrics Short time in dialysis unit Chemotherapy and haematology rotation It is essential that candidates have a relevant qualification (BPharm or equivalent). Ensure you also complete your Te Whatu Ora Hospital Pharmacy Internship preferencing as part of the application process; this will be distributed to your university email address in April. Position Description: Intern Pharmacist About the Team / Service / Location The Pharmacy team is part of the Shared Services Clinical Care Group at Hauora Tairāwhiti, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary hospital services to deliver safe, high-quality medicines management and patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
