Hamilton (Supported living) 65 hours per fortnight Shift lengths will vary but you must have availability for rostered shifts between 8.45am and 5pm Due to the personal care needs and privacy of the person we support, this role requires a female support worker Mō te tūnga | About the role We Are Looking For a Support Worker To Join Our Supported Living Team. You Will Be Supporting People With Intellectual Disabilities Living In Their Own Homes To Achieve Their Goals And Aspirations. This Is Meaningful Work Where You Can Be Creative And Make Every Day Interesting In Ways That Are Important To Others. Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring Preferred Previous relevant experience is preferred, but more importantly, we are looking for someone with varied life experience and an open-minded attitude. The skills to build good relationships with the people we support and help them make good decisions for themselves The ability to work independently and problem solve in complex situations Excellent communications skills and the ability to share information in a way that can be easily understood Comfortable and proficient in using technology You will need to be physically fit to support in a variety of activities Have a Full NZ driver's licence Nōu te rourou | What's in it for you?
