Overview This full‑time, on‑site Electrical Estimator role is based in Dunedin and is part of the McArthur & Symons Electrical team, a locally owned and operated electrical company. The position is designed for a NewZealand registered electrician who wants to transition from hands‑on work to management, while still providing on‑site assistance and apprentice training as required. Core Responsibilities Perform electrical duties including installation, maintenance, fault‑finding and compliance work. Organise scheduling with clients to provide pragmatic solutions and prepare estimates and quotes. Manage client liaison regarding pricing, identify variances and produce professional electrical documentation and reports. Coordinate all job‑related logistics and procurement. Liaise with independent electrical inspectors. Schedule staff, monitor progress and ensure job completion meets client wishes and estimation accuracy. Qualifications & Experience NZ Electrical Licence (required) 5‑10years of electrical experience Full NZ vehicle driver’s licence Electrical estimation experience is an advantage but not critical; in‑house training will be provided. Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel; computer savvy. Excellent communication, professionalism, honesty, and adaptability. Immediate NZ work visa; only applicants with permanent NZ work rights are considered. Benefits Annual salary: NZ$80,000‑$90,000 (approx.
