Senior Merchandiser | Christchurch

Represent our iconic brands - Tip Top Bakery, Ploughmans Bakery, Golden, Big Ben Pies, and many more amazing products! We have a position available in Christchurch for a Senior Merchandiser with people leadership duties and relieving opportunities throughout the week. The working days are Sunday to Thursday between 08:30am and 05:30pm, however you may be required to work some weekends and public holidays. The position will be a minimum of 40 hours per week including allocated hours for senior merchandising duties. You will also cover merchandising duties as part of this role according to the roster. About the role: Build strong relationships in store and try your hand at upselling Lead and develop a diverse team of merchandisers from within the region Replenish shelves Rotate stock Create eye‑catching product displays You’ll need to have the following: People leadership and problem solving – no two days are the same when you’re leading a team FMCG experience desirable Class 1 full or restricted New Zealand driver’s license Reliable vehicle with valid registration and WOF Ability to lift bread crates over your shoulders repetitively Keen to learn – we will provide full training to help you succeed Benefits include the following: Enjoy competitive hourly and mileage rates Secure and stable job – reliable weekly pay, paid directly into your bank account!
