Senior CNC Mill Programmer/Operator (3-Axis)

Tool Designer RPM International Tool and Die Ltd has been operating for 30 years and is New Zealand’s leading privately owned tool making manufacturer. The Design department is expanding, and we require a highly skilled Tool Designer with project management skills. Undertake complete tool design from concept to reality using ProE software. Manage projects. Produce hard copy drawings for manufacture. Produce complete bill of materials. Liaise with sales staff and clients. Maintain the ISO9001-2008 quality system. Ensure product compliance. Initiate, implement and document improvements. Qualified Tool Maker with 5 to 10 years of manufacturing experience. At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Tool Designer. Full working knowledge of all tool types, press tooling and plastic injection mold tooling. 3‑D modelling experience is helpful. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong interpersonal, organisational and report‑writing skills. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work in a team environment. Remuneration package will be negotiated in line with the successful applicant’s experience. CNC Mill Programmer/Operator Highly experienced 3‑axis CNC Mill Programmer/Operator required. Must have sound knowledge of 3‑axis machining and be conversant with Fanuc or Heidenhain controllers, with the ability to program. Ideally a qualified toolmaker with experience in manufacturing press and plastic injection mould tools and precision machining. Proven time‑management and team skills are essential. Individual employment contract. Standard work day 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Overtime rate equals standard hourly rate. Key performance system. Annual reviews based on performance.
