We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a KingsWay School teacher with strengths in music, starting 28 January 2027. KingsWay is a high achieving, growing, state integrated Christian school catering for Year 1-13 students, with a roll of over 2000 students. About the role This permanent, full-time role is based in our middle years (Years 7-10) teaching music as a specialist subject. It also works with the senior school head of faculty - arts and director of co-curricular arts to contribute to our arts programme across the school. We are open to applications from candidates qualified to teach Years 1-8/10 or Years 7-13. The successful applicant will: Be a registered teacher Have strengths in NZ curriculum knowledge in music Be a passionate educator able to embrace middle years philosophy Enjoy partnering with parents Relate well and be culturally responsive to a diverse range of students and staff Strengths in other subjects advantageous An important condition of employment is that applicants must have a willingness and ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the Special Christian Character of KingsWay School.
