Senior Analyst – Finance Operations Heartland Bank, Newmarket, N, NZ – Full time on site position offering career growth opportunities. We’re growing and need a Senior Analyst focused on Finance Operations to deliver accurate financial data, strengthen controls and improve processes. You’ll work closely with the Head of Finance Operations and be a trusted expert in reconciliations, controls and process improvement. What you’ll be doing Own and deliver complex reconciliations with precision and care. Support operational finance processes, including expenditure approvals and reporting. Act as a go‑to expert for resolving complex issues. Strengthen and maintain manual and automated controls. Identify risks and opportunities, and drive process improvements. Contribute to the smooth running of the function, supporting workflows and team effectiveness. About you 4+ years’ experience in reconciliations or operational finance. Experience in complex, high‑volume environments. Exposure to banking or financial services (ideal, but not essential). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Workday) and reporting tools. Advanced skills in Excel (formulas, pivots, Power Query) and tools like Power BI. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. Proactive mindset – ownership and results‑oriented.
