About the Role As Retail Sales Manager, you’ll lead our retail team, be responsible for our retail store, and drive sales of our tourism experiences, including exclusive Trekking, Star Gazing, and Glacier Explorer boat trips. This role is responsible for driving revenue, maintaining merchandising standards, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a team culture that reflects the values of the Hermitage and the spirit of Aoraki/Mount Cook. Qualifications Your experience in sales to drive revenue targets with a focus on New Zealand-made products and our tourism experiences. Your ability to recruit, train, and develop teams to deliver outstanding service. A passion for merchandising and visual standing standards. Demonstrable experience managing daily operations in a fast‑paced retail store. Experience in upselling and cross‑selling products and services. Your financial acumen to optimize rostering, budgeting, and forecasting. A passion for the outdoors that aligns with the best of Aoraki/Mount Cook.
