Key Responsibilities Independently direct and manage all daily operations of the laundromat to achieve business objectives, service excellence and commercial performance. Develop, implement and continuously improve operational policies, procedures and service standards. Exercise full decision‑making authority over daily operational matters to ensure efficient, uninterrupted business operations. Recruit, lead, manage, train, allocate duties to and evaluate staff performance, while addressing disciplinary and performance issues where necessary. Determine staffing requirements, prepare work schedules and manage labour resources to maximise operational efficiency. Establish workflow priorities and allocate resources to ensure timely completion of customer and commercial laundry services. Analyse business performance, identify operational improvements and implement strategies to enhance productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction. Determine pricing strategies, promotional initiatives and service offerings in response to market conditions and business objectives. Develop and maintain relationships with commercial customers, negotiate service arrangements and resolve complex customer matters. Authorise the procurement of equipment, consumables and operational resources, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost‑effective purchasing. Monitor operating costs, prepare budgets, control expenditure and implement measures to improve financial performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, environmental requirements and all applicable business regulations. Oversee preventative maintenance programmes and authorise equipment servicing or replacement to minimise operational disruption. Review business performance reports and implement strategic initiatives to support sustainable business growth. Requirements Diploma Level 5 or higher qualification in Business, Management or Communications or a related discipline. Strong leadership, organisational and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication, customer relationship and staff management abilities. Sound financial, budgeting and operational management skills.
