About the Role Registered Nurse role in Children’s Ward at Hutt Valley Hospital. Fixed‑term contract to cover parental leave from 24 August 2026 to 1 March 2027. It is 0.7 FTE, working 56 hours per fortnight with a mix of 8‑ and 12‑hour shifts. We are looking for nurses who have a passion for working with infants, children and adolescents and their families. The Children’s Ward is a busy multi‑speciality area where you will have the opportunity to care for acute medical and surgical patients and develop specialised skills in burns and plastics surgery nursing. About the Team / Service / Location The Children’s Ward at Hutt is a busy ward with a quality‑driven, patient‑focused environment and a dynamic supportive team.
