Catering Assistant - Timaru

Overview Working 20 hours per week at Craighead Diocesan School, Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 8:30pm. The role is a 40‑week educational term contract starting Monday 20 July 2026, after the school holidays. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen duties. Serve meals and provide friendly customer service. Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas. Assist with stock handling and deliveries. Support catering for school events and functions. Qualifications Some hands‑on kitchen or food‑service experience preferred. Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. Confident communication skills and ability to follow instructions. Flexible and reliable, with availability across varying shifts. A positive, team‑focused attitude.
