Permanent, full‑time position based at the Horowhenua Site. Competitive salary ranging from $57,096 to $62,773, depending on experience. About the role Make a difference to New Zealand's tamariki, rangatahi, whānau and communities within Horowhenua. Join our supportive and fun team and grow your administration experience while providing statutory care and protection services. Responsibilities Administration of Social Work kaimahi including assistance with financial plans, data collection and scheduling Liaise with vendors, casual staff and other stakeholders Work with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds Book rooms, answer phones and assist on the reception desk Organise welcomes / whakatau for newcomers and whānau as required Deal with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner Qualifications Full clean New Zealand driver’s licence (historic convictions may be considered case‑by‑case) Support the team with all aspects of Health and Safety Strong computer and IT knowledge Admin skills such as typing, reporting and responding to site needs Cultural awareness and understanding of Tikanga Māori principles Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Strong time‑management and excellent verbal and written communication skills Adaptability to different audiences Understanding and appreciation of cross‑cultural practices, especially Tikanga Māori and Pacific peoples’ culture Benefits Step‑based remuneration package with annual progression for experience through tenure Annual remuneration starts between $57,096 and $62,773, dependant on experience Vibrant and supportive team, flexible work options and a genuine commitment to wellbeing Significant training and professional development opportunities Diverse and inclusive workplace; commitment to respect and equality How to Apply Apply online with your CV and covering letter.
