Thanks to a significant new client win in the financial services sector, we’re looking for a Group Business Director to lead a well‑resourced, high‑performing team in Auckland. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role with immediate impact and scale. The role This is a senior leadership position responsible for driving strategic excellence across a portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on delivering integrated media solutions end‑to‑end. You’ll own the client relationship at the highest level, lead the thinking, and bring together specialist teams to execute best‑in‑class work. You will: Lead strategic media direction across a major financial services client Take ownership of a group of client accounts and senior stakeholder relationships Shape full ecosystem planning across paid, owned and data‑led channels Act as the “taskforce leader”, bringing together internal specialists to deliver integrated campaigns Elevate conversations beyond media into broader business outcomes Drive excellence in campaign delivery, performance tracking and optimisation Lead, mentor and grow a high‑performing team What you bring You’re already operating at a senior level and know how to balance strategic thinking with delivery. Strong understanding of the NZ media landscape and full‑channel planning Proven ability to lead senior client relationships and influence at C‑suite level Experience managing and developing teams Commercial acumen across campaign performance and client financials A collaborative, team‑led mindset with the ability to bring people with you Why this role This isn’t a steady‑state portfolio.
