About The Role We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical leadership team as a Unit Coordinator for the Hospital Unit at Grace Joel Retirement Village in St Heliers Auckland. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term role working Sunday to Thursday, 0800-1630 starting 01 April for 10 months. This role also includes a shared on‑call component. Responsibilities Provide leadership, coaching, and support to your team, ensuring care is always "good enough for mum and dad". Foster the Ryman culture which promotes a safe and enjoyable work experience for your team. Ensure all care is continuously assessed, planned, implemented, and evaluated to meet the needs of each resident within the Hospital Unit. Actively engage with resident's families/whānau, visitors, Allied Health Professionals, and District Health Boards, creating lasting relationships. Perform and support your nursing team to conduct interRAI assessments. Intermittently provide additional time outside rostered hours to attend events, support team members or residents and families as needed. Dedicate quality time with your team, including flexibility of rostered hours on different shifts to connect with all team members within the unit. Communicate effectively and efficiently with your team that promotes respect and trust. Participate as a positive and trusting member of a team that works together as one.
